I just discovered bit.ly has a QR code feature on their information pages. Every url you shrink automatically has a QR code created for it.

What’s even better is that bit.ly kindly provides you with analytics data. It will tell you how many people visited the page using the QR code as opposed to clicking the shortened url it created for you.
This new version of my blog is quickly coming together. In just a few days time I got my resume up, and have it connected to my LinkedIn profile.
My kid was 4 years old, and I was ready to make my move into the tech industry. I remember being completely exhausted from raising a toddler and finishing my thesis. I also remember feeling complete full of hope that my new degree would take me in the direction I had dreamed about 3 years earlier.
Tonight me and the kid-o are watching the movie Tortilla Heaven. It stars Jose Zuniga, Miguel Sandoval, George Lopez and Lupe Ontiveros and many others. A man living in a small New Mexican town finds that his tortilla quemada has burnt-on image of Jesus. The town tries to make sense of the miracle. The comedy ensues.
What is even more fun is that the web is filled with other Jesus-tortilla stories. As recent as January 26th of this year AOL reported, a woman breakfast for her son discovered la virgen and the baby jesus burnt into a tortilla.
What is even more awesome is there is a DIY site that shows you how to make your own Jesus tortilla. Could be a really cool fundraiser for church 
Why, oh why, did it take me so long to get my site whipped back into shape? I did a fresh WordPress install, updated the theme, and slightly modified the css. Next step will be to dump my old db’s and sift through the 3 or so years of writing I took down to see if I feel like re-posting any of it. Pathetically, the geek in me is looking forward to doing some basic sql statements to make it all happen.
